This is the first time that Latvijas Pasts has released a stamp block dedicated to the Paralympic champions from Latvia – Diāna Dadzīte, Aigars Apinis and Edgars Bergs who won medals in the 15th Summer Paralympic Games that took place in Rio de Janeiro in September 2016. The stamp block and the cover have been designed by the artist Ģirts Grīva.
