Latvijas Pasts releases a special cover to commemorate Eduards Rozenštrauhs, a Latvian composer
Latvijas Pasts has released a special cover and created a special postmark in honour of Eduards Rozenštrauhs (1918–1992), a Latvian songwriter and musician who would be 100 years old this year. The special cancellation of the cover is scheduled to take place in Riga post office No. 50 located in the shopping centre Origo, 2 Stacijas laukums, Riga from 8 AM to 7 PM on the 13th of August 2018.

The print run of the special cover is 1,000 copies, and it features not only a portrait of Eduards Rozenštrauhs, but also the lyrics of the musical pieces loved by people, such as Vecās likteņdzirnas (The Old Mills of Fate) and Ai, māte Latgale (Oh, Mother Latgale). The cover and the special postmark have been designed by the artist Ģirts Grīva.
