Latvijas Pasts Council was elected on the 21st of October 2021 with a term of office until the 20th of October 2026.

 

 

Raimonds Dūda

Chairman of the Council, Independent Member of the Council

Membership in Committees: Finance Committee

Education: Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, Master of Law degree from the University of Latvia and Professional Master of Economics degree from BA School of Business and Finance.

R. Dūda is an expert in strategic governance and financial management with more than 20 years of experience at management board and council level in international corporate capital companies.

R. Dūda is Chairman of the Board at Mobility Asset Management SIA and previously he was also involved in community service as Member of the Council and Head of the Finance Committee at the Association International School of Latvia.

Previously, R. Dūda worked as Managing Director at PSA Automobiles Citroen importer and distributor in Latvia & Lithuania under Veho Oy Ab group of companies for 14 years. R. Dūda has extensive experience in the design and implementation of development strategies of capital companies, financial and risk management, management of organisational changes and restructuring, management of business development issues, building of result-oriented teams and creation of effective work environment, as well as management of the parties involved.

 

Ivars Blumbergs

Independent Member of the Council

Membership in Committees: Finance Committee

Education: Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, Master of Economics degree from the University of Latvia.

I. Blumbergs’ areas of responsibility are financial management and audit, as well as risk management and internal controls. I. Blumbergs is a professional whose 20-year professional experience includes both business and financial management, as well as corporate customer relationship management in the transport energy, telecommunications, and audit sectors. I. Blumbergs is a certified auditor and a member of the Latvian Association of Certified Auditors.

I. Blumbergs holds the position of Member of the Supervisory Board at Virši AS and is also Director of the internal market product distribution at PARS termināls SIA and Naftimpeks SIA.

During the past 15 years I. Blumbergs managed ORLEN Latvija SIA and was responsible for business development in the transport energy sector (B4B segment).

 

 

Anri Leimanis

Member of the Council

Education: Master of Laws, International Business Law from the University of the Pacific Mc George School of Law, California, USA; Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Riga Business School. Conducts research into the international regulatory framework for Artificial Intelligence as part of his doctoral studies at RSU.

A. Leimanis’ areas of responsibility at Latvijas Pasts are strategy development and implementation, as well as corporate governance. A. Leimanis is an expert in corporate governance with more than 25 years of business experience. He conducted corporate governance research at St John’s College, University of Oxford, UK, and also did work placement in the investor relations department of a company listed on the London Stock Exchange.

A. Leimanis is a graduate of the Professional Board Member (2017) and Chair (2019) education programmes at the Baltic Institute of the Corporate Governance.

A. Leimanis also serves as Member of the Supervisory Board of RB Rail AS, a joint venture of the three Baltic states, coordinating the Rail Baltica high-speed train project implementation.

As part of his community service activities, A. Leimanis chairs the Public Private Partnership Association of Latvia and actively participates in the work of other NGOs.

Before his appointment to Latvijas Pasts Council, Anrī Leimanis occupied several senior management positions at Lattelecom Group companies, served as Chair of the Management Board at Pirmais slēgtais pensiju fonds AS, the largest private pension fund, for 13 years and worked as an independent Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Latvijas Mobilais Telefons SIA for 9 years.
